On March 31st we released our first book, entitled “Our Code: History, Practices and Processes of AVPA”. It’s already been met with a warm welcome by friends, former team members and industry partners. It’s a quick read, about 60 pages, but the book is packed with fun stories and bits of company history that even longtime customers were surprised to learn.
The official press release announcing the book hit the wire services and the story has already been picked up on news outlets both locally and nationwide. A few of the memorable publications include the San Diego Union Tribune, LA Daily News, Boston Globe and Miami Herald.
Last Wednesday we had a fun evening at Iron Fist Brewery in Vista where we celebrated the book release and caught up with friends. There were entertaining conversations about the audiovisual industry, how it’s changed over the years and where everyone thinks it is headed. But in each conversation, it seemed the common denominator was the people. A strong theme in the book, we know it’s the people that truly makes a company what it is. We wish to thank the people who have helped to make AVPA a success, including our loyal customers. And thanks to those of you who made it to the party and celebrated with us. Good beer with good people!
